To further SURA’s mission, it has formalized affiliation agreements with two partner organizations, by which SURA’s provided group tax exempt status.

To grow the research base and strengthen the scientific and technological capacity in the Southeast and nation, SURA works in coalition with several organizations:

The International Light Cone Advisory Committee, Inc. (ILCAC) was formalized in April 2008 and National Society of Hispanic Physicists (NSHP) affiliated in September 2014.
