Purpose and Responsibilities of the C-CCB
The purpose of the Committee on Collaborative Capacity Building (C-CCB) is to strengthen the ability of SURA member institutions to develop, participate in, and sustain high-impact research and education initiatives. The Committee strengthens institutional capacity by identifying successful models, fostering shared learning, and supporting programs that enhance readiness for collaborative research, workforce development, and innovation across the SURA membership. The Committee will:
- Identify success models of institutional collaboration and promote their adaptation across the SURA membership
- Strengthen member institutional capacity through shared learning, professional programming, and dissemination of effective practices
- Support programs that expand research training, graduate pathways, and collaborative workforce development
