Guest Services and Amenities
Located conveniently adjacent to the Jefferson Lab site, the quiet and privacy provided at the Facility will allow you to focus on the purpose of your visit. Each guest room has individual temperature control, private bath, telephone, basic cable TV, wired and wireless computer connection, refrigerator, coffee maker with complimentary coffee, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and complimentary toiletries. Full housekeeping service is provided on weekdays. A Hospitality Associate is on-site most weekends and housekeeping service is available upon request.
With the exception of four guest rooms for our guests who request "smoking rooms," all other guest rooms and the main building are designated as smoke-free areas. No pets are allowed in guest rooms.
Continental breakfast is provided for weekend guests, Saturday and Sunday, 7:00AM - 10:00AM. Several restaurants, shopping areas, and movie theaters are within a few miles of the Facility, including the Patrick Henry Mall and Oyster Point City Center. Additional information on shopping and attractions is available in the main building. Postcards, stamps, and prepaid phone cards may be purchased at the front desk during normal business hours.
For your relaxation, we offer a spacious great room/lounge with a fireplace, stereo, television, DVD, VCR, and computers. You can prepare meals and snacks in the adjacent dual kitchen complete with an espresso machine. Stay in shape in our private exercise room equipped with treadmill, stationary bike, stepper and weights. Washer and dryer are available for your use during your stay (detergent and fabric softener available for purchase).
The Residence Facility can accommodate Lab employees in emergencies such as residential power outages, visiting family members of Lab employees, and Lab employees during relocations.
Our friendly and helpful front desk staff is ready to assist you personally with your needs during normal business hours, 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Monday through Friday (except holidays). If necessary for special events and large groups, front desk hours may be extended to assist arriving guests with check-in.
If you arrive after normal business hours, your room key can be picked up at our convenient self-service, check-in station located at the Residence Facility main entrance. Be sure to bring the access code provided on your confirmation. If you need to make immediate arrangements after hours, call 757-812-1691.
