SURAgrid Strategic Plan 2008-2012

SURAgrid is a consortium of institutions and organizations collaborating and combining resources to create a distributed high performance computing (HPC) infrastructure (cyberinfrastructure) for the SURA region.

  • Gary Crane, Southeastern Universities Research Association (SURA appointed member)

*** New SURAgrid Membership Rules

One of the SGC's first tasks was to recommend a SURAgrid membership criteria and a process for evaluation and approval of applications for SURAgrid membership.  In October 2007, the SURAgrid general membership approved the SGC membership proposal, and the new process for joining SURAgrid is documented in the SURAgrid Membership Rules dated October 18, 2007.
